Nintendo’s 2020 lineup 4/9 titles were ports, remasters, and remakes. I mean Nintendo’s 2018 lineup was almost entirely Wii U ports with the only new significant titles being Kirby and Mario Tennis until Mario party & Pokemon Let’s Go in October. Have those announcements spread out through the Winter, Summer and Fall 2024 directs. Round it out with a few less than expected titles such as a new DK platformer sprinkled into the fall/holiday lineup as well as a few other smaller remakes/remasters from F-Zero, Kid Icarus and/or Star Fox with Switch 2 launching in March 2025. Throw in the possibility of DQ12 releasing on the system in late 2024. Nintendo could have a direct in January/February 2024 announcing Tomodachi Collection for Spring 2024, a new warriors title from K-T for summer, another board game/minigame collection from ND Cube in the late summer/fall, New Gamefreak developed Pokémon title for Holiday season, and Metroid Prime 4 for Holiday season and it wouldn’t look too much different than 2018’s lineup.
